The winners of tonights games were:

Twin Valley vs. Honaker
Winner: Honaker

Haysi vs. Council
Winner: Council

In my opinion, 2 major upsets in the Black Diamond District tonight. Good season Twin Valley, better luck next year.

Haysi still advances because of winning BDD regular season, and the other team to advance will be decided tomorrow night at Clinchco Elementry. Good luck Honaker and Council.

Definately 2 upsets but Haysi is lucky by winning the regular season. #4 for Council I think her name is Shelia McGlothlin (check spelling)had a lot of points. I don't think she was really a big scorer for Council but she definately stepped it up tonite. Amanda Miller was obviously Honaker's go to player. If Council can stop her I think they have a chance if not Honaker could be going to the regionals.

i have to disagree with that the haysi game was a upset..sorry lady tigers just have to regroup for the regionals and come out fired up and ready. but the honaker game wasnt a major upset it was a slight one but honaker did beat TV in the regular season once and just have easily beaten haysi with a few breaks here and there but haysi proved to be the BEST TEAM IN THE BDD throughout the season but jsut did have it tonight..but i think the town of honaker will be gloating tomorrow night because to teams will have a victory the football and girls basketball.
